Forest fires have caused the Sun Valley Summer Symphony to cancel the last four concerts of its season, according to the orchestra's web site. The Sun Valley Summer Symphony is the nation's largest privately-funded series of free concerts. This year was its 29th season with concerts that included tenor Nicolas Phan, pianists Orion Weiss, Joyce Yang and Orli Shaham, violinist Midori, and narrator John Glenn

According to this OPB report, the Beaver Creek Fire has already cost $11 million to subdue.
