The
Seattle Times has reported that Thomas Dausgaard will succeed Ludovic Morlot as the music director of the Seattle Symphony. Dausgaard will take over in the fall of 2019 for a contract that runs four years. Dausgaard, age 54, has been the Seattle Symphony's principal guest conductor since 2014.

This is excellent news.
I hope TD gets around to programming some of the great Danish works by Langaard, Norgard & Ruders that he has often performed &/or recorded elsewhere.
