Preview of VSO concert with young artist winners in The Columbian

My article that describes this weekend's concerts with the Vancouver Symphony and the gold medalists of its Young Artists Competition is available in The Columbian newspaper here. The competition has gone national in its quest for the best young musicians in three categories: strings, woodwinds, and piano. The monetary awards have also been greatly increased, and the panel of judges draw from the entire nation as well. This is a big step up for the VSO.
