New grants available for individual Oregon artists
Yesterday, the Oregon Arts Commission announced that individual artists (like musicians and singers) should apply for a new grant to help their careers. The OAC has a total of $40,000 to give away during this first year, so the size of each grant will range from $300 to $1500, which ain't much, but every little bit helps. See www.oregonartscommission.org/grants for more information. The first deadline (for this quarter) is November 14th. You can apply online. Good luck!
