Tenor walks off job at Canadian Opera's Fidelio

Apparently, because of a dispute regarding the tempo, American tenor Jon Villars, in the role of Florestan, quit singing during Canadian Opera Company's public dress rehearsal of "Fidelio." Consequently, Villars will be replaced by Icelandic tenor Jon Ketilsson for opening night and the next four performances. Canadian tenor Richard Margison will sing the role for the final five performances.
