Vancouver Symphony (WA) receives grant from Paul Allen

The Vancouver Symphony has just announced that it is the recipient of a $40,000 grant from the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. That's a major boost for this orchestra, which supports 65 professional musicians on a part-time basis. The Vancouver Symphony was the only classical music organization to receive a grant this year. Portland Center Stage was awarded $45,000.
