PS: I just found out that this is the second time that Mizuno has been selected for the NYO-USA orchestra. She was one of the co-concertmasters last year in the "Symphonie Fantastique" concert under Charles Dutoit.

National Youth Orchestra to include PYP co-concertmaster
Congratulations are in order for Portland Youth Philharmonic's co-concertmaster Fumika Mizuno, who has been selected to join the National Youth Orchestra, which is part of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. The 109-member orchestra will receive a two-week training residency this coming June on the campus of SUNY Purchase. They will perform in Carnegie Hall under Christoph Eschenbach and then embark on a tour of Europe to play concerts led by Valery Gergiev.
